My husband and I had the privilege of visiting the Pepper Club Hotel to celebrate his 40th birthday.
Upon arrival we were greeted at the front desk by the staff who offered us a welcome drink, as we did our check-in. The Staff in the hotel’s lobby were all welcoming, and had happy smiles on their faces.
We were escorted to our room and from our balcony we had a stunning view of Lions Head. The staff had also prepared a delicious carrot cake with a happy birthday message for my husband.
The room contained a full bathroom and separate toilet as well as a mini kitchen area which had a microwave, an Espresso machine and a kettle for those who prefer tea.
In the Evening, we explored the local city options which were within walking distance from the hotel. We were also offered a shuttle to the Waterfront or Camps Bay, which is arranged from the hotel free of charge.
Once we had explored the town, we returned to our room to retire for the night. The bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s rest.
The next morning, we went to explore the gym and the pool. The gym has the most stunning view of Table Mountain. The pool will be the spot to be on a hot day or to enjoy a sunset on a summer evening.
After exploring, we went to have the Buffet Breakfast, there was a good selection and a variety of options to enjoy. My husband had the buffet while I ordered eggs benedict from the menu. The food was good, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
After breakfast, we took a lovely walk to the City Gardens to feed the squirrels, before departing on our way home.
The Pepper Club is the perfect location for your city break and convenient for you to explore the city’s local offerings nearby, such as the local Museum, Planetarium, City Gardens, or if you are looking to shop or explore the city’s nightlife, you will be within walking distance of a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants.
The hotel also has the Paparazzi Bar, which serves cocktails and drinks as well as snacks, Ruby’s Bakery & Café is a contemporary street-side deli offering sweet and savory options during the day, and the COPA RESTAURANT serves amazing food until late.
While we only had a short time here, I would highly recommend a stay at The Pepper Club for locals and tourists alike.
