My journey in the hospitality industry has been an exhilarating adventure, fuelled by my passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. I've proudly been part of the incredible Minor Hotels family since 2006, and I am incredibly proud to have been chosen to oversee the launch of the first NH Collection in the Middle East. It's an honour to play a part in the company's growth and achievements in this region.

I embarked on this journey armed with a Diploma in Hotel Management from the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management in India. Yet, my thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. I dove into E Cornell certifications in revenue management, sales & marketing strategy, and hotel P&L, honing my skills to navigate the intricate landscapes of this industry.

But beyond certifications and qualifications, my journey has been defined by an unwavering commitment to fostering innovation and driving growth. I'm not just about the numbers and strategies—I'm a certified facilitator for process improvement workshops, a testament to my belief in continual learning and evolution. My passion for the art of hospitality isn’t merely a career—it’s a way of life that I infuse into every aspect of my role.

My journey in the hospitality sector has been ignited by the sheer thrill of hotel pre-openings. There's an unmatched magic in witnessing a property transform from blueprints to a bustling hub, welcoming its first guests. It's an experience that never fails to captivate me.

The NH Collection Dubai The Palm holds a special place in my heart as the 10th pre-opening or rebranding project that I've been fortunate to lead. Each time this opportunity arises, I'm filled with an undeniable enthusiasm that prompts an immediate "Yes!" from me.

My passion for these pre-opening ventures has grown with every project. There's an electric energy in overseeing the construction and orchestrating the grand opening, something that feels like orchestrating a symphony of hospitality. The hands-on experience across various destinations in Asia has been invaluable. It's prepared me remarkably well to embrace the challenge of leading a pre-opening in a new country like the United Arab Emirates, with its unique culture and flair.

We've transformed the hotel into a beacon of environmental responsibility and social awareness. One of our pioneering steps was introducing Dubai's first vegan-friendly rooms, catering to a diverse and eco-conscious clientele. But that's just the beginning.

NH Collection Dubai The Palm has forged partnerships with sustainable suppliers, prioritizing local produce to reduce our carbon footprint and bolster community support. Operationally, we've implemented sustainable wooden guest key cards, adopted a strict zero-plastic policy, and introduced in-room vegan bulk amenities, along with compostable room amenities. Additionally, we've installed an in-house water bottling system to eliminate the need for plastic water bottles.

These initiatives aren't just about service; they're about making a meaningful difference in how we operate, ensuring that our guests not only experience exceptional hospitality but also contribute to a more sustainable future during their stay.
