Whether it's your first time or not, don't forget these little hacks for living like a local when visiting Vietnam!
- Don't drink tap water
- Be wary of scams while shopping at night market stalls
- Avoid wearing shoes inside homes if possible (and never wear shoes in pagodas)
Vietnam is a country that has been largely overlooked by the rest of the world. It's not as flashy as China, and it isn't as developed as Thailand, but Vietnam is one of those places where you can really feel like you're getting off the beaten path.
The people are friendly and warm-hearted, there's a lot more to explore than just beaches and food (although those are pretty great), and there are so many cultural experiences waiting for you in this small yet diverse country.
It might be time for you to discover some new beauty!
